Rhys Roberts

Hotel Director, a professional hotelier for more than 20 years and Director of Best Western Hotels GB and the British Hospitality Association. Rhys is committed to the development of the hotel as a major conference venue in the South West whilst ensuring high standards to all its clients.

Wayne Hartrey -

Operations Manager , Wayne utilises his considerable experience and enthusiasm to not only be responsible for the day to day operation of the hotel but also run the conference services department with flair and professionalism.

Jo Squire –

Head Housekeeper , Jo has a wealth of knowledge and experience of the tourist industry and organises the housekeeping staff to ensure our high standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained.

Wendy Wright -

Conference Co-ordinator,Wendy is the hotel's point of contact for our conference and function business.

Sam Keating -

Conference Co-ordinator, Sam is the hotel's point of contact for our conference and banqueting business.

Ruth Hawkins - Groups Co-ordinator,

Ruth is the go to person for all our group enquiries.

Izabela Alexsandrzak-Gnitecka -

Revenue Manager- Izabela is responsible for accommodation sales and is the person who can assist with rate enquiries.

Louise Coverdale -

Head Receptionist - Louise leads a great team in reception and is responsible for group enquiries.

Joan Kidley -

Financial Controller , Joan is responsible for the efficient running of the hotel’s finance department. A Tivertonian by birth, Joan has seen the business develop over the past 15 years and her own career path has developed alongside. Joan is well known for her love of strong coffee, taken often.

Nickolas Mort -

Executive Head Chef - Nick joined the Hotel eleven years ago from an award winning hotel near Exeter. Previous to this appointment he gained valuable experience with the Roux brothers in London. Nick is an excellent and inspired chef and this is very much reflected in his menus, each able to bring the best of local produce to the restaurant for your enjoyment.

James Harris 

Head Chef Gallery Restaurant, James joined us recently and he will be leading the launch of a brand new menu in the Gallery in the new year.

Carol Ahern

Gallery Restaurant and Banqueting Manager - is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our restaurant and bar along with her team of supervisors and staff, who all have a dedicated approach. Customer care and service is an important part of her training ethos at the hotel and this is very apparent in our restaurant.

Barry Horwood -

Maintenance Manager, Barry is responsible for the maintenance of the building and its many systems, he is also the hotel's Health and Safety officer.
