Knightshayes Court

- A National Trust property and a fine Victorian country house with richly decorated Gothic and Romantic interiors by the eccentric designer William Burges. There are celebrated formal gardens containing rare shrubs and specimen trees, lily pools, floral boarders and amusing topiary. The newly restored walled Victorian Garden is a particularly fine example.

Bicton Botanical Gardens -

These wonderful historic Grade One listed gardens have been conferred with the highest conservation status by English Heritage. Originally laid out by Henry, the first Baron Rolle nearly 300 years ago, the gardens are today owned and run by Simon and Valerie Lister who are dedicated to conserving their beauty for you to enjoy.

RHS Gardens Rosemoor -

The Royal Horticultural Society's garden at Rosemoor is situated in the delightful setting of the Torridge Valley, nestled within extensive surrounding woodlands. After twelve years of development all of the projects envisaged in the original garden masterplan for Rosemoor are now complete.

Barle Valley Safaris

was founded in 1998 by Alison Simms and Duncan Waller with one Land Rover operating from Dulverton. Entering its' eighth season the firm now has two Land Rovers based on Dulverton, Dunster and Minehead and carries 2,500 passengers a year to explore the Exmoor National Park. Our spacious 110 Land Rovers take leisurely trails of discovery through steeply wooded valleys, by clear rushing rivers and over the dramatic windswept moors.
