Tiverton Hotel Hosts Steam Car Rally

The Tiverton Hotel was delighted to welcome The Steam Car Club of Great Britain who stayed for a week in June.

The club brought some 60 enthusiasts and approximately 20 cars who enjoyed a series of events and specially arranged rally's during a week of glorious weather.

The cars many of which dated from the first decade of the last century created a lot of interest wherever they went and evoked a period long gone especially on their rally over Exmoor to Lorna Doone country.

Their programme concluded with a blow down dinner in the Crystal Suite before leaving for home around the country.
